As recently as March, we had an editorial in The Press where we talked about Heraclitus’ thoughts on change, with the article going on to highlight “the need for all of us to be ready for change, whatever the reason and whatever direction it takes us.”
Little did anyone know at that time, the change that was about to befall, or its massive scale. In a short 48 hours, life changed dramatically for everyone.
Covid-19 has been a shock to the system, and a challenge for everyone. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to all who have suffered and lost during this time.
Maryville Courts is blessed to have approximately 5 acres of greenspace, including a small park and orchard. So, although the village library, gym and the communal lounge were closed during lockdown, residents greatly appreciated the ability to walk through the gardens, taking in fresh air, exercising, and enjoying some semblance of normalcy.
With the easing of restrictions, we once again look forward to showing off our villas and award-winning gardens to prospective residents.
Work goes on apace to finish the renovation of three villas currently under contract, and refurbishment will commence on two vacant villas thereafter.
